Privacy Policy — Fin Cascade

This policy covers the Fin Cascade app (“the App”) and our websites, www.fincascade.com and screener.fincascade.com (“the Websites”). It explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or a phone number (OTP), we receive your name, email address and/or phone number, and a unique account identifier used to authenticate you.
Device / notification token. If you enable notifications, we process a push-notification token so we can deliver alerts you have opted into.
On-device data. Your watchlists, filters and app preferences are stored locally on your device and are not, by themselves, transmitted to us.
Service requests. To show market analysis, the App requests data from our servers; these requests may include your account identifier.
Ask questions. If you use the Ask feature, we collect the questions you type and the answers generated, together with a record of which market data was used to answer — kept so we can audit answer quality and meet our compliance obligations.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Our Websites

When you visit the Websites, we count page views so we know which pages people use. For each page view we record:

the page you opened and which of the two Websites it is on;
the website that sent you there, by its domain only (for example google.com);
whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer.

We do not use cookies for this, and we do not store anything on your device.

Your IP address and browser details are used only on our server, to make a visitor code that changes every day. That code lets us count how many people visited without recognising you, and we cannot link it back to you after the day ends. Your IP address is not stored or sent anywhere.

We do not count automated visitors such as search-engine crawlers.

2. How We Use Information

To authenticate you and secure your account.
To provide the App’s market-analysis features.
To send notifications you have chosen to receive.
To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the App.

3. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. We rely on the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Messaging) — see Google’s Privacy Policy.
An SMS provider — solely to deliver one-time passwords for phone sign-in.
AI providers — Anthropic and OpenAI — solely to generate answers for the Ask feature. When you ask a question, the text of your question, the conversation so far, and the market data needed to answer it are sent to one of these providers, whose servers may be located outside India (including the United States). We do not send your name, email address, phone number, account identifier or device identifier with these requests — the provider sees the question and the market data, not who asked. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.
Axiom (usage analytics) receives the page-view counts described above. It keeps them for up to 30 days.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Ask conversations are retained for 90 days and then deleted automatically. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting failuretech2023@gmail.com (or via the in-app account-deletion option, where available); deleting your account also deletes your Ask conversation history immediately. We will action verified requests within a reasonable period.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Important Disclaimer — Not Investment Advice

Fin Cascade is an educational and informational tool for market analysis. It does not provide investment, trading, financial, or legal advice, and nothing in the App is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security.

We are not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst or Investment Adviser. Markets carry risk; past performance does not indicate future results. Make your own decisions and consult a SEBI-registered financial adviser before investing.

Answers from the Ask feature are generated by artificial intelligence from the App’s market data. They describe that data, may be incomplete or contain errors, and are never a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the App.
